Moorland Nurseries and Garden Centre is a family owned and operated business which began in 1947 and is now operated by the third generation of the family.

We aim to supply only top quality plants many of which are grown on our own nursery. To help us to achieve quality plants we operate a modern glasshouse nursery with environmental computers providing optimal conditions for plant production. More>>

We also buy a range of plants from carefully selected nurseries to provide a wide choice for the customer to choose from.

A wide range of garden sundries is stocked which changes according to the season.

At Christmas we sell a wide selection of decorations and both artificial Christmas trees and “real” trees undercover in the nursery glasshouses.
A Christmas themed feature is always popular and raises money for Saint Michael’s Hospice.
